Over the last decades, there has been a marked decrease in the number of people who still read newspapers. In today's modern era, the majority of the world's population reads the news on their smartphones, tablets or computers. With so many sources from which the latest news can be acquired nowadays, such as: online articles, blogs, television and even social media, one must admit that the old-fashioned newspaper is becoming redundant. Furthermore, the amount of information that can be printed on a newspaper is limited, whereas the internet contains a nearly infinite amount of information. In conclusion, it can be unequivocally affirmed that the newspaper can no longer be regarded as a necessity in today's society.
