There is no denying the fact that Celine Dion is a talented singer who has made her mark on history. She simply has a wonderful voice and the fact that she is an equally amazing person only makes her even more special. Recently, however, she announced something that shocked even her biggest fans.
We are sure that nothing in the world could have adequately prepared Celine for the devastating news delivered to her in 1999. She found out that her husband Rene had been diagnosed with cancer of the throat. Doctors informed them that he would eventually lose basic functions. At this point, Celine had to act as his caretaker, and it must have been challenging for both of them. The singer did her best to care for her husband as she clearly wanted him to enjoy his remaining days.
It is practically an understatement to call her life dramatic. From the moment she was born, she already had many obstacles to contend with. Even at the present, things from her painful past sometimes resurface and haunt her. She managed to be a hit in the entertainment industry and subsequently faced the challenges of living her life under the spotlight. Through the years, she had to deal with a forbidden love, as well as some health issues among other things. When you see her smile, however, you will be unable to do anything than admire her.
