In my opinion, books or short stories being adapted into film can be a great idea, but in some cases, the film adaptation often has too many alterations, either leaving out significant parts of the book it’s being adapted by, or changing certain details to make them more suitable for a film
version of the given book, which is fine, as long as, by the end, there are not too many differences between the original book and the film adaptation. As an example, we have the well known book series “Harry Potter” by the famous writer J. K. Rowling, which have been adapted into amazing films, and even though there are some slight differences between the books and the movies, the majority of the action is still the same, which makes the movies just as good as the books.
