So, in this book there is a little girl named Sarah, she and her mother decide to leave Poland and stay in Paris. Dark clouds of war pounce on Paris, Nazi Germany attacks again, she struggles to survive during the war he befriends a little boy named Joseph , actually he was older , Life under the German occupation becomes more and more difficult for the little Jewish. during a raid her mother is taken But Sarah manages to save herself and reach the care of the peasants united with Joseph, the girl feels lonely and abandoned but her past binds her to an oppressive promise, renewed over the generations with pain in the chest makes she does her promise and makes her dead family be proud of her.
