Jack, who is an experienced skier, found himself alone on a Swiss ski slope. Suddenly, one of his skis hit something hard and Jack flew in the air, only to land meters and meters away. Thankfully, the cold snow was there to catch his fall. He tried to stand up, but he could feel that he had broken a leg, since he wasn't able to walk properly. His leg also started to hurt. Unfortunately for him, the sun started to set, and Jack began to feel frightened.
Jack is now in the hospital, and his leg is in a plaster. He definitely is lucky to be alive! While resting, he's thinking about the huge Saint Bernard dog, who found him in the snow. Jack now smiles to himself, thinking "Thanks to the dog I didn't freeze to death".
