The Haunted House
It was a a dark stormy night. It was autumn and the little Ann was lost.
A long time passed when she finally saw across the road a big old house. Ann was soaking wet so she decided to go inside.
She knocked but no ine answered so she decided to go in, assuming it was abandoned. As she opened the door an awful smell was in the air and a salty taste filled her mouth. She was so grossed out so she tried to get out but the door slamed in her face. She couldn't open it.
She had no choice but stay the night. She went through a wood door that led downstairs. She was shocked when a hideous witch was boiling something grey and slimey in a huge pot. The witch's cat was playing with a mouse when saw Ann at the end of the stairs. Unfortunetly, the witch saw her too and cast a spell on her.
Ann woke up in a field of colourful flowers. It was a lazy afternoon. She saw her mother on the bench in front of their house sipping the sharply sweet lemonade Ann made before she went to cloudgaze outside.
Ann was so happy knowing that the haunted house was a nightmare
