I think children shouldn't have the same jobs as their parents, and if they do, it should be their own choice, not because they were encouraged to. Even if a parent is successful at their job, and want their child to be the same, they shouldn't force their children on the same path, that may leave them to never try to fulfill their own dreams.
Even though following a path that was already paved is easier, it might leave you feeling lost, like you didn't live life to the fullest.
That's why children should be allowed to pave their own path, to fall and to rise, and see for themselves if it was worth it or not to try something for the sake of what they want.
